CPU vs CPU Games stalling after TD is scored

I like to sim games by having the CPU play CPU and watch or go do something else and have the game completed in realistic fashion. So far every game I've watched plays fine untill a team scores a TD the game will sit on the PAT until clock hits 1 then I must intervene and press X. ( it will sit for hours if I don't touch it) then a delay of game will be called and accepted then I have to press X again for the game to kick the PAT. (it will also sit here if I don't touch the controller) Then the game will start back up untill another TD is scored, then repeat cycle.

Does this happen for anybody else?

I mean it's CPU vs CPU why should I have to press any buttons at all, defeats the whole purpose of CPU vs CPU games.

This never happened to me on previous versions or in pre madden 13
