Why is this in Madden and not in NCAA

Pre-snap option D. I just played M25 for the first time yesterday and noticed it on D. With the option more prevalent in NCAA why hasn't it been implemented in this game for years now?

It's in the Game Adjustments during playcall in NCAA. I think you get to them by hitting LB/L1 but you should see it on the bottom of the playcall window. Same functionality, different style/location.

Yea but in Madden you can change it by the play, it's just an Audible, if the CPU runs the hurry up in NCAA You're stuck with whatever you set it to.

I'm sure we can debate for years over which is better. Personally I think selecting it as a gameplan option and not being able to change strategy during the hurry-up is more realistic. You are already rushing just to get the next defensive play called, any other adjustments would probably be very difficult to make effectively (in real life that is).

I really agree with the OP on this one. A defense going up against an option offense would probably have a fast audible planned out as to who to key on. Not being able to change who you key on in a hurry up is a problem.

I see it both ways. It would be hard to switch when the offense is going no huddle like Oregon. I mean you don't really have time to call a play and they are snapping the ball again. On the other hand if the offense is taking 20-25 seconds between plays in the no huddle, then you should have plenty of time.
