Re: Offensive Playbook for Bama

I've attached my copy of the Jimmy Johnson vintage playbook.

If there are any questions, please direct them to my inbox, so as to not clutter this thread.

I use ALL split back forms available in NCAA 14 - Army Split and Pro/Normal (whatever it is called, but I also remove the triple option play from this set)

Edit/Update:

I re-edit the pdf version of the playbook to allow for better formatting.

Additionally, plays in red aren't in NCAA 2014. You'll have to ignore them.

How to read:
I place the main formation in bold above the various sets, with plays in each set listed as descending columns below.

So "Singleback" has the following formations: ace, big wing, ace pair, f pair twins, doubles, slot wing, y trips, wing trips, spread

After the singleback: spread plays are read, you will come to IForm, which has 5 different sets listed in it for use.

Again, I use all of NCAA 14's split back forms and sets without the triple option play.

Indiana is a pretty good book. It has nice power running formations from piston and shotgun and also some nice air raid stuff (lots of stick, mesh, inside cross, and screens). Fun playbook

Re: Offensive Playbook for Bama

any progress on the bama playbook? I watched Bama's games vs Michigan State and Clemson and drew the formations and most of the plays, so I plan to make one as close as possible, but like you said, over 40 formations are variably used so it will be difficult to trim that down. may also watch the Ole Miss game, to see more examples of passing situations and hurry-up
