PS3 Modding

I want to hear from someone who has personally modded their offline dynasty files on the PS3. This includes changing rankings, bowl games, and implementing a 4-team playoff. Please do not respond if you have only modded on XBOX, this is for PS3 users only.

I have done so with a PS3. What questions do you have?

Thank you. I am able to get my save data decrypted with bruteforce, and change the file name to .mc02! However, after this, I don't know what Dynasty Editor to use to edit my dynasty file! I tried using the generic editor, but I guess you have to use this program called modio, and modio is only compatible with XBOX save files. What program do you use to edit your dynasty files?

You don't have to use modio at all if you use PS3. If you actually have the file decrypted (are you using Bruteforce Save Data?) the the file will open in either editor. There is a step-by-step guide available that I sent you a link to a week or so ago in a different thread. Did you look at that?

Yes the file IS decrypted, I saw your link, and tried to follow the instructions. I will try again this evening. I did it during pre-season, maybe that was the issue. I'm actually able to get the file open using the ROSTER EDITOR. But, it's not a dynasty editor? I guess I'm a little confused about roster editor vs generic editor

If you followed the link that I posted, you are using the Dynasty Editor. I don't think there is even anything called a Roster Editor. You can either use the Dynasty Editor or the EA Generic DB Editor (with a dynasty config file). Either way, if the file is decrypted it will open in either editor.

What do you mean (with a dynasty config file)?
