Which version of the NCAA Dynasty Mode do you miss the most?

So, this wasn’t in any NCAA game but the scheme fit concept from Madden 19 is tailor made for a college game. A 2-star scheme fit could be a better player in the long run than a 4-star player who doesn’t fit your scheme. Madden’s system with different dynamic development levels is also something that would work really well in a college game.

Has not been any game previously, but....

The abilty to Add & Remove Conferences would be #1 on my list. Also, providing the ability to have custom Conference names, and Conference logos, would be a perfect complement, to this feature.

For me, NCAA 14 is the best game in almost every regard. Therefore, it follows I don't miss any of the others. People say "you actually had to call and make phone calls" in some past game, and if that had been done to a level that was creative and interesting, well then yes, that would have been pretty cool. It was not. If you're going to make a dynasty mode I just recommend the following most important thing...

Have a realistic system of improvement and more importantly, stagnation or regression with certain players or certain players in certain years. This can be done any number of ways I would imagine, but in my mind should be based on hidden ratings, or some that are hidden and some that are not. I have a "work ethic" rating and do all my own progression myself because it's JUST THAT BAD and had SO LITTLE EFFORT put into that aspect of the game. Why? It's like the most important thing of a dynasty mode in my opinion. I hate seeing a system where every player on the team improves from +3 to +8, with the vast majority at +5 or so. REALLY?

Not something I recall seeing in past iterations of NCAA Football. However, at least in the older versions of NBA 2k MyCareer mode, the avatar would face questions at a press conference and the answers could affect team morale and the avatar's popularity.

A feature like this would, in my opinion, augment the dynasty experience. It could tie in with hotstreaks of the players, recruiting, etc.

You should run any "out there" ideas by the people on the board. Some of the out there ideas I have include text files from every game being emailed to me (so I don't have to type out stats if I'm doing a reporting dynasty) and Team photos. haha

Great point.

I know that there are programs on these boards that have applications that allow for detailed record keeping but it’s beyond my computer skills.

It would be great to export yearly dynasty files to a folder which would easily translate them into reports - printed or otherwise.

As great as dynasty modes are right now, the statistical history is virtually non existent other than coaches records.

Also, big ask but if you PLAY the games can you at least have SIM stats that are in the same ballpark!! Lol - all of us have had the “#1 rush defence and the the 186th pass defence” with 4 out of the 5 leading tacklers in the NCAA.

Lack of injuries always bothered me. In ncaa11 your QB or RB would sometimes get long temr injiruy but no other positions got hurt. Later versions had even less frequent injury rate.
