Although I guess since the whole idea of the mode is to promote the individual, it fits right in.

First year I'm going to do a custom cover for myself. Looks like Teddy Ginn will grace the cover of NCAA for me.

I like the retro, and it's a good choice based on the theme, but I don't like the fact it's a Michigan player. I respect the guy for his college career but I'd rather see a North Dakota guy on the cover than a Michigan player.

Five seconds after I open each year's version of the game I totally forget who is on the cover. I honestly have no idea who was on the cover last year. Desmond's on the cover? cool, Bo, Archie, Red Grange , whatever as long as its not some serial killer or child molester or something, then no worries. It's all about the game.

As you can see from my name,michigan21, this is great news. For those of us old school guys who remember desmond at michigan he was unbelievable. Receiver, punt returner etc he embodied what the heisman was for, as did charles woodson. The last true heisman trophy winner was eddie george (damn that is hard to say). The award has become a little watered down over the last few years and desmond embodies how one player can so effect a game in 2-3 different ways. But then again i'm biased.

I think it's a good idea. After last year's debacle, this helps redefine the series.

Besides, I could care less about the cover. I'm more worried about what's under it.
