maybe getting in the zone is like realizing u have to make a big play and gettin psyched up...like if ur defense has been gettin dominated and then a DT gets in the zone realizing that he has to step it up..or after a loss teh QB knows he needs to make up for it...iono but that could be it

I think they also said being in the zone involves key situations. Like the guy said before, if your D has been getting knocked around and they have their back to the goal line, that start defensive lineman or linebacker is going to crank it up a notch (or at least try to) and make a big stop (Ponitact Game Changing Performance?).

Of course, it also makes sense that they've been doing good previously to get into the zone.

I talked to a producer in the EA booth at E3. He mentioned that there is a random chance a player gets in the zone as long as his Dynamic Player Rating is positive during the game. In key situations, that player gets a much higher chance of getting in the zone, say like a power RB on a 3rd and short. Also, I think he mentioned that the percentage is a higher later in the game, so you will probably see him in the zone more in the 4th quarter than in the 1st quarter.

Hope that helps.

not sure about being in the zone being cheesy, but watch the auburn vs oklahoma videos and look how hard it is to stop adrian peterson, he guy is breaking takles the way the old nfl 2k4 game broke tackles, i hope this can be adjusted.
