Scholarships in RFTH

Do you just get to pick just three radom scholarships offered to you or is there more you can pick from.

Re: Scholarships in RFTH

You can walk on to any school you want but I think your ratings will take a hit and it kind of defeats the purpose of the mode.

yeah you will get 3 offers but also have the option to walk on anywhere you want. it does defeat the purpose.

From the reviews I have read. You do not get a ratings hit if you walk on.

Honeslty this year just seems like a "shell" of the feature (as most 1st year features are in EA games). I expect next year, and following years, to have the RFTH feature be more invovled and work better.

For this year though you can accept one of the 3 schollie offers or just walk on anywhere and it is the exact same thing. Heck you could just run a regualr dynasty, create yourself with realistic ratings and save a few minutes also. /shrug

Well if I play this mode I'm not going to walk-on anywhere it just wouldn't be as fun.

I'm pretty sure you DO have a ratings hit when you pick a team not on the list... and as everyone has said it defeats the purpose of the mode.

I agree. USC is my alma mater and I'd love to get them as one of my choices, but I won't walk-on there. However, I might give myself three times to try to do well enough on the drills to end up there.

Re: Scholarships in RFTH

It doesn't defeat the purpose guys. Come on, there are many players that walk on the the school they have always dreamed of playing for when they don't get an offer from them. It is called trying to fulfill a childhood dream of playing for your favorite school. Many of these types of players even make a major impact before graduating. If I had always dreamed of playing for Texas Tech but was not offered anymore than an offer to walk on but also got scholarship offers from several small schools in Texas I think I would have to walk on and see if I could hack it and if not then I could stick it out as a backup or transfer. Do what you want but I'm going to try to get a scholie from Texas Tech and if not then I'll walk on unless another major Div 1 school offers. Otherwise, it's Texas Tech for me.
