Can recruits develop into Impact Players???

dont flame if it's been covered....I just might have missed it.

I'm assuming the answer is yes but it leads to many other questions.

1. Would only 5 star kids with select exceptions into 4-star get the oppurtunity or would the development be based on playing time, stats, etc. like in real life? Face it, tons of mid-level recruits explode into players...Big Ben #79 QB coming out of HS, Robert Gallery #39 TE out of HS into #1 Tackle...etc.

2. How will it work when many kids are vecoming high 80's and low 90's rating guys will we be given the oppurtunity to select which guy or guys will be our impact players?

3. How will players prgress with respect to stats?

Again, sorry if it's been covered, I;ve been away from board for a week or two with business being hectic...thanks in advance.

I'm sure recruits develop into Impact players...you just have to feed him the ball on offense, or get a lot of Tackles/INT's o Defense. Remember, player ratings change I think every few games in Dynasty mode, so I believe it has to do with player and team performance.

eventually they would have to, because the impact players in the game would all graduate so the answer is yes.

Since player ratings can fluctuate throughout the season, do you think that Impact players will change during the season... or will the default Impact players (that start the year) be the ones for that particular entire season.

It would be cool if the Impact players change based on the actual "impact" that they have thoughout the season. Let's say your second or third wide receiver has a great year (better than your impact WR)... then he should become the impact player towards the end of the season.

Also, what happens if your Impact player get injured? Does that leave your team with only two Impact players? Hmmmm....

they can change, I'm almost positive I heard they can change based on who is doing what during the season.

It looks like the "Impact Players" are simply your team's 3 highest rated players, except certain conditions must be met. Based on the list, It appears Offensive Linemen are taken out of the mix and cannot be impact players. Also, there must be at least one impact player on offense AND defense from the looks of things. So, if your top three players based on overall rating are all on offense, the third guy gets skipped and it goes to the highest rated defensive players. The unusual thing is that Kickers and punters seem to be included. I could see letting kickers in, but how many times do you need to get off that clutch punt to give your team the win?

I think I have that right, please correct me if anything is wrong with what I said.
