NCAA Football 06 Review

Just got the new PlayStation Magazine. I don’t post here, so if has been posted already – whatever..


"All around NCAA 2006 is a great game, but most of the new features don’t really feel like they're all that new. In other words, a lot of these features we've seen either in Madden, such as the minigames, or in other football games. The race for the Heisman mode, in particular, is a good addition, but it seems to fall short of really offering anything new or worth while. "



Pro's :Finely tuned gameplay, new presentation, elements , mini games. in-season recruiting.


Con's: Race for Heisman falls a little short, inpact players impact special moves feels out of place.

i can already tell this game is a 4 out of 5 just from watching all the vids and what not out on the net

cant really make a 100% judgement till ive actually played the game and get a feel for it...but jus watching the game the only thing that comes to mind is "seen it all before"

I don't give a crap about Race for the Heisman. I'm not even gonna use it. All I care about is gameplay and so far it sounds good. All they had to do was fix the gameplay from last year's screw up and this game will be awesome.

Also, I found out OXM gave it a 9.1, not sure what they said, but I believe 2005 got rated a 8.5 (or 8.7) from them last year. They were one of the few to mention the slowdown, drop passes, and discipline problems too.

sounds good... the OXM article that is, OPM... well I used to subscribe to them but after the changes they aren't reliable anymore. Considering they liked 2005 better, I'm pretty sure unreliable fits the bill here.
