i need a new controller with 06 coming out soon. what in your opinion is the best controller for ps2. i would like to get a aftermarket controller. thanks

the best controller IMO is the logitech wireless controller. it works great, even online, with zero lag and perfect comfort ergonomically. they are $39, i would get the extended warranty at best buy tho for an extra $7 cuz i did have one where the left analog got real loose after about 3 months and i had to take it back but i don't think it was lack of quality, just sometimes things break..

anyways, i love this controller and ask anyone that owns one, it is easily the best controller you can have for the ps2, if you can afford to drop the 40-50 bones..

I agree with ODogg, the Logitech Wireless is fantastic. Easy to use, comfortable, and great range for reception.
