I'm just like you and I picked up the ps2 verison. But this year, they may have done too good of a job with the textures on the ps2. Sometimes the grass is too 'shimmery' and sort of hard to see. I played a game at USC in the daytime and there was a lot of a glitter look with the field and the stadium. I'm not really complaining but I will also get the Xbox version later next week to see if they've improved the textures and the colors on that version. I'll just sell off the one I dont want.

edit : just wanted to add I played some night games and they look great on the ps2. Lighting this year is excellent again.

I have both systems and I have never played an EA game that wasnt better on the PS2. It's very slight but the PS2 always feels smoother with these games. Just my take on it.

I had both for 05. The main drawback of PS2 is XBox's load times are so much quicker. XBox takes about 5 seconds(or less) to save it and even quicker to load. PS2 takes almost a minute to save and about 20 seconds to load. And the graphics from XBox do look a little better.
