Next Year's Next Gen versions could be a letdown.

2006 is the best football apadation to date. It has the best computer AI experience in any football game to date. Unlike horrible previous versions were every team played the same, 2006 allows every game to be a unique experience. As far as I know next years versions on the next gens will be on a complete new engine which means back to square one with all new problems. I think we are going to be very spoiled with 2006 heading into next gen. And if you don't like 2006 you need to seek medical treatment immediately.

"Horrible previous versions.." are you kidding me?

NCAA has been consistently good, and just gets better from year to year.

Some disliked 2005, and I haven't played it enough, but to call it horrible is unfair IMO.

Your post seems to contradict itself. First you imply all previous versions are horrible, but them claim that anyone dislikes 2006 needs to "seek medical help." If all previous versions were horrible, then how was 2006 possible? EA took a shot in the dark and got lucky?

Sorry, that isn't how making successful games works.

I seriously doubt we'll be disappointed with the next gen NCAA Football games. Honestly, I don't even think they've come near close to what they can accomplish. Those graphics are going to be unreal, and I feel like I can get a couple of my wishes granted, which is to have realistic and full sidelines, and ANIMATED BANDS!

The recruiting is only going to get better and the race for the heisman is going to improve in the coming years.

If anything, I'm more than pumped for it and have full confidence that it will fulfill my expectations.

Good day

I think the next gen will be a giant step for video gaming, and this years NCAA is a quality game that Im not going to get tired of playing, until next-gen Madden of corse. We'll be able to tell what kind of game NCAA will after playing madden.

I'm sorry I meant that playing the computer has a horrible ordeal in NCAA as every game was the same. I think the NCAA has always been the best football games year in year out every since they added dynasty mode on PS1. Playing the computer is actually fun now I was playing minnesota and gave up 278 yds to Maroney on 34 carries that would never happen before. And the other day I was playing Virginia they were running the 3-4 and subbing Amhad Brooks to DE on passing downs. Playing the computer is very dynamic now. This makes NCAA the best sports game ever for me.

hha this guy thinks 06 is the most realistic version of ncaa. maybe the running game is, but i dont see the animations in the passing game happening in real life AT ALL.

I doubt there is a next gen version of NCAA 07, it will probably have to wait until the calender year 2007. And EA will focus more on wowing the casual idiots with purrty graphics than create a realistic gameplay engine.
