One thing I didn't like about past games was the ability of schools like North Texas and TCU to become powerhouses rather quickly.
That happened to you too huh? One of the lamest National Championship games ever was when I played as Alabama against North Texas in the Sugar bowl in 05'. How they got so good, I do not know.

Re: SC loses!

Huge upsets happen way too frequently for my liking so I play god when simming games. I still let upsets happen, but it will mostly come during conference play where I am more apt to let things play out as they will. There is no way I am letting UL Lafayette beat a ranked team. It just happens to frequently and at the end of the year you are left with no unbeaten teams and teams with losing records making bowl games.

Re: SC loses!

I totally agree w/ the posts about TCU and North Texas.

The mean green have always came to dominance in every NCAA game since 02.

I understand playing god sometimes when simming because in previous year games teams like Flordia and Tennesse would totally fall off the face of the earth when it came to being a big football program. I mean they would drop to like 2 or 3 * teams.

Re: SC loses!

USC lost to Arizona, Washington and UCLA in my first year of dynasty. It seemed like a lot of the "big" teams lost quite a few games. I noticed OU went 5-6, LSU was 7-4, Texas went 8-3. Undefeated Iowa and 1 loss Tennessee were in the Rose Bowl.

Oklahome lost in their 2nd game but Adrian Peterson got hurt for 7 weeks so it was justified.

Miami losing int heir first game isnt a big shocker, they do play FSU to open the season. Not like their playing Army or something.

Re: SC loses!

In a season I simulated just for kicks USC lost to Oregon and only Oregon but managed to sneak back into the national championship and still won it, I cant remember who they were playing for the national title but they did win and they won big.

Re: SC loses!

USC finished 6-7 with a loss in a mid-teir bowl in my first season dynasty, while dropping out of the polls around midseason.
