Defensive line special moves...

I decided to try out playing a defensive lineman, but noticed that I can't perform a swim or swat move using the usual L and R. I checked the controls and they seem to only be available when using the 2005 control scheme. Am I missing something?

Re: Defensive line special moves...

It's best to let the A.I control your guy out of the snap. When you see him about to engage, use the stick to do one of the moves, then control him the rest of the way. At least that's my experience with it. Some things defensively on the right analog are not as responsive as they should be it seems, like big hit/hit stick.

So the right analog stick does the special move? I'll have to try that...

Thanks!
