I have heard of the feature but have no idea how to do it. I am on xbox.

There is no double team command in the game. The only way to double cover a receiver is select a play such as "Double Outs," or another play that is designed to double cover a receiver.

which really sucks btw, especially considering the package system that an offense can employ.
