How good does a player have to be to get taken in the draft?

Anyone know from past years approximetly how good a player has to be in their overall rating to get taken in the draft in Madden?

My brother and I are inputing names in hopes of getting more of the players in there who will be taken in Madden. Naturally, we dont see the point (for this purpose) of putting in the names of guys who wont make it; on the other hand we dont want to wind up with only 2/3 of players having names.

Top 15 at each position should be plenty. I think last year there were about 13 players in the draft for each position.

*shakes head at my own idiocy*

Man, I'd been doing like 25-35 at each position! And that's not including going and getting guys in advance (for example if a guy is an 88 Soph., then he's almost definetly going to be in the draft, righjt?)
Good thing I came on here and asked before finishing up, thank you for the time saver.

Actually top 15 is not correct. QB is 14 HB 13 FB 11 WR 23 TE is 9 OT 18 OG 18 DE 17 DT 14 OLB 18 MLB 11 CB 24 FS 12 SS 12 K9 P 8. The reason i know this is that i do this with all of the teams and top players. Now remeber this is based on last years madden. I hope this helps.

Re: How good does a player have to be to get taken in the draft?

I have a question based kind of on the subject. How do the ratings from NCAA translate over to Madden? I guess what I'm asking is, does a 90 rated player turn into say a 70 something rated player in the Madden draft? I hope the players don't get rated too high in the draft, or there will be a power house of draft picks in Madden.
Secondly, does Madden add made up players at the bottom of the draft to fill it in, or is that all the players available, just what is in your exported draft class?
