What is HFA? Just got the game and have been noticing alot of drops... didn't know what "turn of HFA" meant.

Also, does pressing the catch button (Y on xbox) when you aren't actually controlling the receiver (computer controlled) increase the likeliehood of a catch, or do you have to switch to control the receiver then press the catch button?

Home field advantage is how the crowd noise affects the away team. If you are playing in the swamp you will probably get a lot of drops because it lowers your composure. If you turn HFA off then you wont have near as many drops.

That still won't matter if you have the XBOX version; turning on easy catch, manual catching, using different teams.....I've tried it all and NONE of it has worked. I know this as a fact because I had the XBOX version, and I did all of this with no results, but, once I bought the PS2 version I have had NO issues, just go and rent it if you don't believe me, and I guaranree that you will not have dropped pass problems whatsoever!

i bet its xbox too. i have been complaining about drops and everyone just says i dont know how to pass. i think the problem is that ps2's buttons are pressure sensitive and xbox's arent.. (or are they...i really dont believe they are except for the triggers)

It is, in fact, XBOX.

Re: 15 DROPPED PASSES

I dont get it... I'm not having this big problem with drops and I'm on the Xbox version.

The only drops I get typically are when a defender hits me right when I catch the ball.

I'm even playing my dynasty with Duke and through 2 games of getting slaughtered by Michigan and V-Tech(changed up the sched a bit), I dont know if I have one legitimate dropped pass like everyone is talking.

Same here, and I'm using Marshall. Their receivers are rated around 80, and the only real problem I have is trying to pass over the middle. Everything else seems to work ok.
