Angry Fumble Trouble

Got a question for you folks . . . .

Playing with Desmond Howard Sliders on Heisman level with HFA on as Texas AM.
I am in my third year as coach, and have been heavily recruiting HB's.
Got a nice stable of runners, with all their carrying levels at at least 80. However, each game my running backs (each one) has between two to three fumbles. These are from normal hits, not juking or running option either.

We average 4 fumbles a game, always in critical moments. Anyone with any ideas? Could it be a slider issue, or am I just that unlucky?

NEED HELP PLEASE! THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!

Re: Fumble Trouble

Sounds like you might just be unlucky. I rarely fumble unless I am in a crowd and get totally creamed.

Re: Fumble Trouble

You are playing on Heisman right? There are just more fumbles on that level. I had to turn HFA off to help reduce it. There are more big hits, particularly by the CPU impact LBs that cause it. I can only say that I do see more fumbles right after a special move like a juke. If you are in a crowd, don't get too fancy and cover up the ball with the right juke stick. Even then, its not bullet proof.

I just finished a season with Georgia and between my top two backs and Shockley scrambling, they averaged about 1 fumble every 20 carries. That is unrealistically high and the RB ball security was about 80. Still, that doesn't translate into 4 fumbles a game. More like 1 or 2 tops. Rain makes it worse but try covering up on the R stick more. Hope that helps.

Re: Fumble Trouble

Well, besides avoiding impact defensive players who almost always seem to go into that strip ball animation, not sure what'd help.

Re: Fumble Trouble

I would agree with Rudyjuly2 on the right analog button. Push that bad boy up when u go into a pile and hopefully that will limit the fumbling.

Re: Fumble Trouble

you just have to be careful with your spin moves and juke moves and watch out and make sure there are not any impact players around when you do it.
