xbox version vs. xbox 360 version

Will someone please sum up the difference between versions? I'd like to know exactly what I'll be missing out on if I pick up the 360 version. Trick plays...animations...modes...teams...etc...

Re: xbox version vs. xbox 360 version

No spring game.

No Sports Illustrated (ESPN the Magazine will be in the Xbox version)

Not all stadiums will be in the game...some schools will use a generic stadium.

That's about all I know just from what I read, but my Gamestop manager got to play it at E3 and he was very disappointed. He said the gameplay was rock solid as were the graphics, but he said the game felt very stripped down and incomplete feature wise. He played the Xbox version and said that was the way to go. He said the Xbox version played great and other than the nice graphics on the 360, that it was a far superior version.

They had a playable XBOX NCAA football 07 version at E3?????

All the reports I read said the XBOX and PS2 versions were no shows at the events.

You sure about this?

Here is one article

Here is the excerpt

"Although there was a PS3 version of Madden on the showroom floor, the Xbox 360 was the only version of NCAA Football on display."

Will the XBOX version be compatible with the 360?

No he didn't play the Xbox version, only the 360 version. I'm sorry if you misunderstood. He talked to people about the Xbox version and they told him which features were left out of the 360 version and left in the Xbox version. He was told that gameplay wise the Xbox version was pretty much like last year's version with the exception of the spring game and a few other minor improvements.

Don't get me wrong, he loved the gameplay of the 360 version. He was just REAL disappointed at how much stuff they left out of it, but left in the Xbox version. We are literally talking that these are two completely different games. I'm pretty much a graphics whore most of the time, but with what I've heard about Madden and NCAA, I think I'm going to spend my money on the most complete game and right now that sounds more like the Xbox version than the 360 version.

Has it even been confirmed that you can edit player names on the 360 version and import/export draft classes with Madden?

My crystal ball says NO. So far there is no sports game other than WE 9 that is backwards compatible so I wouldn't hold my breath.
