Re: Top 25 LB's

LaMarr Woodley (though technically a DE) is laughable that he is rated under all 3 Penn State backers.

Ahh, gotta love college football, everytime any poll or rankings of teams or players are released it inspires impassioned debate. I think that's a big part of what makes it so fun.

Anyways, kinda odd seeing Top 25 LB's and no Buckeyes in there, guess it's to be expected after last year having the best LB crew in the nation we all got spoiled.

Tim Shaw I'll give you; but Conner and Puz are right where they belong. Those guys are just monsters; plus we're talking about EA here, it's all about 'what have you done for me latley' in terms of ratings.

He would if this was the "Top 25 overhyped LB's" list but unfortunately for Willie it's not.

I dont think Will Herring is a great player, but there is something to be said for having started close to 50 games (his career total after this year) for an Auburn defense. There are a lot of guys playing in the NFL from those defenses that can't say that. He isn't flashy, he doesnt pick off a lot of passes, and he doesn't make many spectacular hits but he is as solid of a safety as Auburn has had in a long time (going to back to the Hall defenses in the mid 90s.
