If you are waiting for a price drop this year I have read at a couple of different sites there will be no price drop on the 360 system this year. Hopefully they are wrong and there will be.

I'm getting it for Xbox.

Sort of a "last hurrah" on my Xbox I picked up at midnight release way back when... it's been acting weird lately (anybody else know what's up when it tells you to plug your controller back in when it's already plugged in? Or if it randomly plays your music on your hard drive instead of a game when the disc drive is closed, with a game inside?) and something tells me NCAA 07 will be its last game

I'm a bit surprised by how large a margin the 360 is in front by. The PS3 is going to have some major catching up to do when it coms out. 360 for me btw.

I think the majority of big-time sports gamers will own a 360 over a PS3 well after the PS3 comes out, the 360 sold itself to a huge base and had a full year and a half of sports titles (including 2 maddens, 2 nba games) to shell out even before the PS3 comes out. To me sportsgamers will not be attracted to the PS3, because most of them already have a 360 and are content with it

MS looks very good right now, and although they will probably lose to Sony in the end of this next-gen console war, it should be a very tight race, much closer then the current-gen war

360 here. I am very happy to finally have a college football game for it. My College Hoops game is my favorite 360 game so far. Although I have been very happy with the system. Between the downloadable content that is available without having to have a Gold Live Account and the great games that have been out so far, it has definitely been a great purchase.
