The only way EA ever patches the game is if there is a critical "you-can't-play-the-game" type scenario. They won't patch because of suction blocking or whatnot, those are considered gameplay issues, not bugs.

Didn't EA release a patch for that big glitch in Madde 2005? I think it was where you would move your DL it would completely fatigue the OL.

I think EA also patched due to the draft class not working also didn't they?

They didn't create a patch for the draft classes, but they did give everyone new discs and replaced the games on the shelves with defective - free copies. That's the only thing I remember EA doing in regards to consumer support.

I'm not a NASCAR fan, but I know quite a few and ask them about EA patching games. They will rant on for hours about EA SimRacing and how it was completely unplayable because it was so flawed but EA never patched it, and this was a PC game.
