Some thoughts on the field proportions...

The hash marks in college should divide the field into even thirds. The distance from sideline to the right hash should be equal to the distance between the hashes and from the left hash to the sideline.

This is weird because back when NCAA Strategies was around I got into an argument there with Phil Frazier, then a producer of the NCAA series, about the hashes being too narrow. He adamantly said they were right.

Well, I went to the overhead cam and measured them on my screen. They WERE too narrow as they didn't measure out to equal thirds.

Well then the field proportions look right to me in 2007.

From the Screen above it looks like equal thirds to me. and yes nfl hash marks line up with the uprights of the goal post. ea got this right.
