Question about the alternate uniforms

Seriously though...I'm willing to bet that since we now have to buy these jerseys, they'll be done better. And if they only cost .50 each or something like that, it's no big deal for me. I bet, though, that they'll come in some sort of pack, that won't be THAT expensive. $5.00 at the most.

I don't think you'll have to worry, dude. I seriously doubt that Duke will have any alternate unis.......

j/k. I agree that the concept is a bad one. I will pay .50 or $1 for a gamer pic that is my school's logo, but I don't think we should have to pay for alternate unis. Especially since we paid $10 more for the 360 version with fewer features. (FWIW, I do not regret my purchase of the 360 version one bit. I'm loving the game.)

I'm betting that because of this being the first year and also the bad publicity this move has inspired, we are going to see very low/cheap prices on these. I'd speculate like 30 cents a team or like $2 a conference, or $8 for all the teams in the game or something like that. I seriously doubt they're going to ask for $5-$10 range for this as not only would far fewer buy them but it'd generate more anti-EA sentiment.

Also, consider the fact that a lot of add-ons for games this way like for Oblivion are only $2 and I think it makes sense it's gonna be pretty low priced.

What are the chances that the uniforms offered will also include 2006 changes that didn't make it into the game because of time constraints (for example, Wake Forests' new "Mizzou" uni's or the Illini's "Clemson clones") ?

Quick question.....

Has anyone heard any official word or of EA's stance/justification on why they're going the purchase-via-Xbox live route for the 360 regarding alternate unis? I'd be interested to hear what they have to say and also interested in hearing of any potential "backlash" for doing it this way.

If they do this right with Every team having a lot of Alternate Uniforms and such all for a cheap price that will be fine with me.

I mean in ncaa 04 the Gators had like 7 jersey's.....I dont really understand this whole we have to buy jersey's now but w/e

I understand your thinking but what about the special unis that may come out during the year sometime and not available for EA to make at time of shipping?

Some people want these and are willing to pay the extra $ for them.

Thats great for people that want to/can buy them, but I dont have xbox live or high speed internet. I dont really care about the jerseys anyway, its the principle. I don't like where this is leading. The jerseys used to be included, now we have to buy them. Dont like it at all.
