Not being a smart-axx, I am really ignorant to this situation.

I know CPU games get patches, but 99.9% of CPU gamers also have online access. Can't say that for console gamers.
Off the top of my head nba2k6, college hoops, and cod2 have been patched for the 360. There may be a couple others im forgetting.
