Problem With Pitches

Hello,
I play as Texas A&M on the 360. Every single "pitch" play I run results in a fumble when the QB pitches back to the HB. Does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe he is just not an option QB. have you checked the rating for him in that area? I think that is one new rating is a pitch rating. I've played about 20 games and not really had that issue although some QB's are better than others at the pitch.

I didn't know that there was a pitch rating. I'll try that out. Thanks for the tip!

McGee is a good option QB in real life, so I'd hope he'd be able to do it. My advice to you is to use A&M in the Option Dash mini-game on Heisman level. If that doesn't make you an expert at the option nothing will.

I read there was about 10-12 new ratings and pitch was one of them. Or maybe it's Option rating or something akin to it. I definitely remember EA specifically mentioned it in one of the interviews with the producer.

McGee should have a high pitch/option rating because that is all he can really do.

Let the AI do the pitch; the most likely problem is that you're moving the QB to the wrong position so that his pitch is going behind or to the side of the runner.
