"Disc Unreadable"

Has anyone else got this message with their copy of NCAA 07 for 360? It has kicked me out of 3 or 4 games online because of this garbage and the disc is BRAND NEW CLEAN AS HELL! This has ONLY happened with my ncaa disc and nothing else...

What gives?

Happens to me atleast once a day. I haven't played any other games so I don't know if it is only with NCAA.

I play GWAR all the time and it hasnt happened once yet...just with NCAA

I'm thinking it may be an EA thing. I was suffering the same problem with my XBox 360 before I sent it off. The thing is that it would only happen with EA games. GRAW worked fine. Table Tennis worked fine.

I'm thinking it has something to do with where EA puts information on the CD's or maybe whether or not data is cached to the XBox 360 hardware, etc.

FYI - As someone who doesn't know what "delayed gratification" means, I went and bought a new XBox to play while my old one is off getting fixed. The new one hasn't given me any problems at all.

FYI - Having spoken to someone in the know, the new batch of x360s that are in stores now are light years ahead of the launch models, in terms of cooling, disc drive reliablilty and laser eye longevity.

No doubt there is a widespread problem with the NCAA discs, that a patch can hopefully alleviate. Difference being that your system still works with other games. Alot of launch models, after locking up on NCAA, just stop working altogether.

I got my system during the second shipement which arrived just before christmas and haven't had a problem with any errors or anything.
