The Spring Game

So does anybody know if you can use the guys that you recruited in-season for sure in the spring game?

The Spring game is really hurt by the roster limitations. With the seniors gone and the new frosh not there yet, you really don't have enough players for it to work right. I had players on offense and defense at the same time covering their own clone. They didn't add enough walkon players to make the Spring game a viable mode. This is one of the few aspects of this game that wasn't done well.

The in season guys are not in the Spring game.

Here's a question...

I have only been playing 360 so far, but will start up my XBOX dynasty soon. The main reason I wanted the spring game over the years was for new QB's. We all know sometimes a 85 rated QB plays better than a 90 rated QB, just based on your playing style or their individual attributes. So my question is...

If you can only play with the 1st team offense and the 1st team defense, how can you play 2 QBs so you can get the feel of them yourself?

Do I have to sub them in and out each series or something?

Probably a very easy answer, but was just wondering since I haven't even started year 1 yet. Was making sure I wasn't stuck with whichever QB I started for the entire game.

Usually the only guys you'll see on campus for spring ball are JUCO's who graduate early. Yeah, there will be some high school kids on occasion, but most of them graduate from HS in the spring, so no spring ball for them.

I think it's a pretty cool feature, and the most important thing is that you can name an offensive and defensive MVP, who become your impact players to start next season. The more control I have over my team, the better.

is there any way to control who your 3rd impact player is? i selected my offensive and defensive mvp, and neither one was my highest rated player (SS at 92), so he became the 3rd one... what if i just wanted him to be really good and have a second offensive impact player... any way to swing that?

do all teams have these? Because i just finished my first season with San Diego State, did all the recruiting and i did not see a spring game option, after recruiting it went straight into the normal things...Redshirting, Custom Schedules etc etc

You nominate one offensive and one defensive IP and the computer decides the third and it can change during the season. I'm not sure if the guys you picked can change too, I haven't seen it yet, but I know the computer picked one can for sure. (PS2)
