I just got jobbed in Colorado

So I take my Army Black Knights into Colorado for the first game of the season and the refs completly robbed. First they called holding on a 47 yard TD pass that would have put me up 7-3 right before the half. To make it worse, on the next play, I toss up a hail mary, my receiver catches it and falls into the endzone, the refs say he is down just short; time had run out so I couldn't challenge the play and the booth never did, the game just went to half.

Then with me up 7-3 with 1 minute left in the game, Colorado converts on a 4th down, their TE spikes the ball and is generally just rubbing it in, no flag. I get called on that everytime. Another 4th down, I stop them and get called for roughing the passer, giving them a first down and they score a TD with 20 seconds left to win the game.

I ended up with 4 penalties, which all benefitted Colorado and they had 1 for the celebration after their go ahead TD celebration.

Sounds like some bad luck right there.

Trust me, I remember the fifth down game...

I was playing a game earlier today at Colorado and I got hosed on a backwards pass call that they picked up and returned for a TD. Thankfully, I had to go do something else and turned off the game.

Re: I just got jobbed in Colorado

I just figured that the refs didn't want my lowly Army team going into #22 Colorado and knocking them off. It's bittersweet for me because on one hand, it would have been nice to pull the upset, but on the other, that game should have never been that close. I was semi-happy to lose, even if it took cheating to do so.
