Is offensive pass interference *gasp* broken...?

Noticed it before, but I just wanted to throw this out there.

I have noticed that I can literally mug the CB if I'm nowhere in reach of a ball, have the ref call offensive P.I., then the game gives me the option to select the call in my favor, as if it were def. P.I.

Anyone else see it happen?

So you're saying to adjust the off. Pass Interference slider and that will get rid of the missed call?

ycbs MVP OVR: 7 Join Date: Jan 2004	*Re: Is offensive pass interference gasp* broken...?** I have yet to see one offensive PI call. I've had the slider maxed out for the last 10 games or so, too. I see TONS of defensive PI calls. I've also yet to see a facemask call, even with it maxed out, as well. The rest of the penalties I'm really happy with, frequency-wise (after some slider adjustments, of course).

When you say "I mug a DB", do you mean a cpu controlled player on your team or when manually take over the receiver to try to make the catch yourself? I never take control of my receiver until after he's caught the ball. I wonder if that's why I don't get any offensive PI calls? Then again, I've seen several replays where I thought there should've been an offensive PI called, but it wasn't.
