Anyone ever have a challenge overturned?

are you allowed to view a replay before challenging? From my experience, it appears not.

So when exactly are you allowed to challenge? I've seen a questionable call several times where I've pressed pause and it wouldn't let me challenge.

there's times when the booth will do them.

This is a nice thing, but they are obviously canned situations as the game won't truely know how the play went, as evident by one challenge I made where the cpu threw a pass that was so obviously taken out of bounds before the endzone that the pylon didn't even get crossed. Yet on the review it was even more blatently a bad call, but they let it stand.

You can't use the replay. As for other questions, I think you need to have a timeout left to ask for one since they penalize you a timeout if you are wrong. You only get one challenge per half and I think that late in each half, the booth is in charge of the reviews but I'm not 100% sure when they start doing that (last 2 minutes?).

You also have to make sure the play is completely over, the ball is spotted and you're at the play selection screen.

I had a huge catch for a first down on third and very long 'overturned' that cost me big mo and I ended up losing the game.

Got screwed by an overturn on a pass as well.....guy was clearly in bounds....they called it that way....other team challenged and they ruled it no catch......both feet in bounds, ball secure.......clearly.



But then again, that's what I get for playing in the ACC.

Are you sure about that? I thought it was one challenge per game, not half. I've challenged early in the game and won, but not been able to challenge in the second half.
