Spring Game Question

Do I have to play a year of Dynasty before I can play the Spring Game? I saw that it was available in the instruction booklet under Dynasty but I don't have that choice on my game (PS2).

You will then name MVP's after the game, and they will be your impact players.

But the MVP's will be 2 of the 3 impact players, the other will be picked by the CPU. Next year I hope they give the user the ability to select all 3 impact players. I'm tired of my seldom used fullback being an impact guy.

I wish you got to choose them after you sim the game. The spring game is pretty boring, but I play it so I can choose my impact players.

I just watch it. From the controller select screen, I just move the controller to the middle and let the game play out however. It only takes about 15-20 minutes to let the CPU play it. I also feel like I can better evaluate who's doing well without any impact from my playing ability or lack thereof.
