option is money every time?

is there any way to make it so running the option is not a money play? I have played on Hall of Fame, turned up DEF awareness to 100, dropped HUM Run Blocking to 30, and if u run the option over and over, you can just march down the field.

this is ruining the game for me.

stop running the option is my only suggestion

or just play with a very slow qb. I actually hardly ever get any big yardage off of option plays, somebody on my line always gets blown up

I haven't had a great rushing QB yet so I don't know how it is on the PS2 this year. With a QB with decent speed (upper 70's) it certainly hasn't been a money play for me. I do like running the option but since you get an extra blocker/option out there, it is generally a pretty good play. When they blitz from the outside, they can usually blow it up. What system is this for?

My only suggestion is that defensive awareness is mainly for the pass defense. Lowering running back ability will help if this is that bad for you.

Try my sliders. I have CPU Def awareness at 100 and break block at 100, with Hum Run and Pass Block at 0. It plays really well.

i thought Miami killed the option? Time to kill another formation i think, since we've already made the Wishbone and the Option look like JV football schemes.
