Game Trade-in Question

A few weeks ago my cat knocked over my 360 while it was running. It didn't hurt my 360, but my NCAA 07 game now has the ring around it, and game will not load. I'm wondering if there is some way I can get another copy of it for free.

1. If I rented the game, and then swapped the games out, would the video store catch on and charge me for the game?

2. Would Walmart take the game back? I know they have a very leniant return policy, but will they take opened games back without a receipt?

3. Would any store take the game in a trade in?

Just buy a new copy of the game and sell your cat to pay for it.

To the best of my knowlegde, stores do not allow software (games, movies etc.) to be returned for a refund. The only thing that you could do would be to exchange for the same title. So, if you bought it and tried the switch-a-roo you be out of the coin you dropped on buying it again.

Try to find it on ebay or something!

Take back to Wal-Mart...you can't get a refund...but you can exchange it for the another copy of the same game...even if its opened...
