I watched that video 5 times and I'm not seeing excessive skating he's talking about. The kickoff really shows the smooth animations.

I saw this too, and there seems to be an element of "drive" blocking.

The O-linemen actually moving the defenders instead of being locked up in a single spot.

One minor complaint from the video. Kickoffs are from the 40 in high school, not from the 30.

Am I the only one thinking the game looks good? It is soo smoth compared to last years. The animations are much better as well. I am reaaaallly excited.

Same here. Im am definitely liking what i am seeing. That kickoff kind of reminded me of that old commercial/trailer for Madden when it was first going to next-gen. I think it was the eagles and giants in the cold and/or snow. Not saying the game looks like that but once that kickoff started thats what jumped into my head!

Loving the smoothness of the game. I want to get excited about this game, and I want to get it on day 1(maybe before, Osers know how NCAA is every year,lol), but last year's game left such a bad impression on my brain it has me very cautious. I also wish EA would go back to the post play close-ups on the players, with the next gen graphics I think it would really add to the immersion. I hope its a good football game tho that I'll enjoy. I'd love to have 3 solid football games this year. I hope editing equipment is back .
