Tackle Animations

I just watched the new tackle animations for Madden 08. I believe I read that NCAA 08 will also have the same animations (on 360). Has anyone else read this?

After watching the videos...I sure hope it is on NCAA.

I just finished watching the "first half" video and must say I am disapointed in one area.

There were many time that a gang tackle or "double tackle" could have taken place, but instead they still have the shot-in-the-chest-and-fall-back-with-arms-in-the-air animation where the 2nd tackler goes flailing backward.

Maybe it is still early in the development and the are working out the kinks.

I do have to say that this game looks to be much better (on the 360) thatn previouse versions...

I guess we will get more information during the EA unveiling or whater ever it is called the 12th.

Uh oh...I was afraid this would be the case in NCAA. I'm praying it's not.

Well since the game will be out in the month, I think that's what you are going to get.

They really hyped up the gang tackle feature but haven't yet seen true gang tackling. I can't remember one video in NCAA or Madden that has a 3rd or 4th guy pile on the tackle. Instead I think EA is defining a 3rd tackle is the 3rd guy to tackle someone after the first and second fall off of the player.

If you look at easports.com and watch the gang tackling video for madden 08 it looks really awesome.. it looks like it's done the way it should be.... after watching the NCAA videos it looks like to get gang tackling done right and getting the right animations and stuff we are gonna have to wait until next year.... there are gang tackles in 08 but not like in madden... either way though.. if the gameplay is good and the game has a lot of depth shouldnt that be enough for this year?? i mean.. any other year thats what we would be happy with... seems kinda like we see how madden gang tackling is and assume is should be in NCAA too... NCAA will hopefully be a great game without it... Next years version probably finally taking that step into AMAZING though like madden is expected to be this year.
