Wow, graphically I don't get what others are seeing when they are saying "it has taken a step backwards from last year". It looks way more realistic compared to 07, and the player models, while still aren't perfect, they are 100 times more realistic than last year.

I was impressed for the most part with those vids.

Some of those hit stick 2.0 hits looked pretty tight. Gangtackling looked okay, im happy about it, but not really impressed with it yet (ill have to wait and see how i react to it, in a in-game situation). Other then that, everything looked good to me. Edit player, Hiesman mode, Hit stick 2.0, player not running out of bounds in the flat, yea... i think that is a for sure purchase for me. Now we just have to play the waiting game, I hate that game.

I was thinking the same thing. Great from a football perspective... bad example.

I'm convinced that devs need to blow up their marketing departments and start over.... and this is coming from someone in marketing. I really think dev houses should stop hiring marketing professionals and hire gamers who know some marketing.

You guys seem to be having a hard time grasping that the DB was either:

A) Covering a FB or RB in the Flat (Most Likely)

or

B) Blitzing
