Defending user lead block (as O-lineman)?

I'm here playing with some friends and the one is using the lead block feature as an O-lineman (all across the board, not just one particular lineman) and trucking my D-lineman. 75% of the time he is PANCAKING my D-lineman and opening up a whole a mac truck could drive through (cliche, I know). And the times he isn't is usually when I control the D-lineman and do my best to get a move off (power or finesse).

Is there any way at all of defending this? Or should we just put in a house rule to outlaw that?

It can get out of hand. Its very unrealistic for the O-lineman to pancake a d-lineman so easily. The only time I use the lead block is with a full back on a sweep, or a guard on a pull. I can understand when they flatback a DB, but not a 300 pound D tackle that is lined up right in front of them.
