I never even thought to look at the players and see if they have any other scholarship offers? I assume you do that during the off-season recruiting?

One thing you want to consider is how close is a 4 star guy to being a 3 star. You can see this by looking at his overall ranking and then comparing that to what the top 3 star guys are ranked. There is definitively a difference this year between the top and bottom in a star ranking so always be on the look out for where the guy falls overall. I've gotten a low 3 and a high 2 end up with the same overall rating when they got in school.

You can do it during in-season and off-season recruiting. Then you click on R3 (PS3) and then R1 until you get to his school list. If any school on that list has offered and scholarship, it would have a check mark in the circle. It is possible to have a school offer a scholarship and not be on that list. If they are not in his top 10 schools, they won't show up.

The only way to see if he has ANY offers is to put him on your list. Then scroll to the right and see if he has any offers. It will say 'yes' or 'no' for if YOU have offered him one and then it would show how many total offers he has.

For example: yes-3 means you have offered him a scholarship and two other schools did too.

no-4 would mean you have NOT offered him one and 4 other schools have.

If they have no offers it would say 'no offers'

Good point, a high 3-star guy might end up being a better player anyway if his attributes are more geared towards what you want him to do. I signed a burner of a 3-star halfback in my first season, and he is great as a return man/3rd down type back.

exactly...i stopped looking at alot of the ratings that don't pertain to what i want them to do in my offense...i don't need all of my WRs to be elusive...I like to have a couple of burners, a big possession guy and a balanced guy...

my 2 best recruits were a 4* HB who was a 99 speed and 4* athlete who turned into a great WR....these 2 guys were much better than all of my 5* recruits
