I like the idea, but I wouldn't want to see NCAA take a step backwards, NFL Head Coach was just bad. Great concept, but EA did not make a good game.

There are so many features like hiring coaches, upgrading facilities, getting $ from boosters, etc.... As long as it can be simmed or turned off I don't think it would affect NCAA gameplay.

Does anybody remember the Gamebreaker games? Where you would do a dynasty, you would start out as a coordinator and would work your way up? They should have a dynasty like that on the game.

I remember Gamebreaker. I had 2000 and 2001 for the PSone.
I liked the gameplay on NCAA better, but I did like Keith Jackson commentary. NCAA didn't have any until NCAA 2002 (PS2).

There could be some different features if you start as a coordinator and work you way up. Recruiting duties, calling plays for either defense or offense, then have the CPU sim the other half, etc....

I like the idea of staduim upgrades thats about it. Like it was mentioned before the AD has too many duties outside of football. I don't want to have to figure out how to get the tennis team to their next match or worry about title IX.

i'd prefer ea to fix the gameplay before even thinking of adding anything else to the game

alas this will never happen

Remember the option they used to give you where you could choose 'bowls' or 'playoffs' for the post season. I really wish they would bring back that option.

I was talking about being the AD in regards to college football only. You would only do things that involved the college football team of your choice(hiring/firing coaches, stadium upgrades).
