What does it mean when you highlight a player to go in motion and then hit I think LB (I am not at my game), his icon goes red. Any idea why this is?

It's lead blocking.

yes, it's lead blocking.

for example: if you are in a strong formation and you have an off tackle called, you can highlight your fb to lead into or off of the hole and as soon as you make your block ( lock up with a defender) you will automatically be switched back to the ball carrier.

it's one of the best features in the running game in my opinion, especially if you have a fb with a little speed who can get outside and pin the lb's back to the inside (seal)

Since the team I'm playing with now (Idaho) in dynasty has virtually no fullback sets, lead blocking is useless for me since the CPU RB doesn't sprint and gets killed by jump-the-snap bull****.

I haven't done this either. I've played a ton of games too.

So when you pick the lead blocker do you use the right stick to block like in Campus Legend mode?

i don't press anything, i just run towards the defender and it automatically goes into the blocking animation
