In game Sim...

Any time I sim play by play, it takes way too little time. They may have 4 straight run plays and it only takes up 20 seconds of game clock. I'm sure someone's mentioned this before but I was thinking about it the other day while playing.

How many minutes are your quarters set to? SuperSim is designed to get a realistic number of total plays in the game. So if you play 15 minute quarters instead of 5 minute quarters, it'll run plays 3 times slower.

I play 9 minute qtrs. I didn't realize it was shooting for a realistic amount of plays. I'd still love to change what the sim qtrs are for all teams during my dynasty. I'd still play 9 min. qtrs but I'd set every other team for 10 or 11 minute qtrs. Maybe 12.

Re: In game Sim...

SuperSim was poorly implemented.

On more than one occasion, I was Supersimming at the end of a game when the CPU or I should have been kneeling on the ball to let the clock run down. Instead, there was a turnover because SuperSim decided to run the ball and fumbled. This happened two or three times. I stopped Supersimming after that.

Yeah, I've won games on comebacks because of this. The CPU isn't much better when you're actually playing. The only difference is they'll attempt passes and mostly complete them. AI is horrible.

Re: In game Sim...

The problem with supersim regarding the amount of time it takes is that when supersiming the clock doesn't run between plays.

Yep, that's kind of what I meant. It's just run a play, 4 secs. go by, then they run another play within 5 secs. etc

LOL the clock isn't necessarily your enemy late in a ball game(losing) if you got supersim.
