I am actually pretty excited for NCAA 09. MAdden 09, not so much. Go figure?

I sure hope they keep EAsportsworld around, and would love to be able to upload madden video and screenshots to it as well.

Re: Dont fall for the HATE!!!

While I don't hate the game I'm certainly not going to get all giddy over a feature list either. I thought 08 was a good game but still not a great effort at all. However I'll get it on release day like I always do and either:
1-I'll love it and will play it all day/night or
2: I'll think it's 08 with a couple fixes and a couple new problems.

Either way the bottom line is EA will get thier money, they'll explain to us that EA Erkel knows more about FB that us and we'll have a 2010 wish list up 2 days later...

Rinse/Repeat....

In Madden it was depicted poorly; momentum was applied heavy-handed in Madden and it made responsiveness feel really sluggish. But in NCAA - particularly NCAA '06 last gen - it was done extremely well; control felt very nimble and appropriate. I don't think there's been another game that depicted player momentum + degrees of acceleration + tangible differences between quickness/speed so well. Add to that a basic but very well done juke moves list made for an enjoyable running game. The game lacked in graphics/player interaction (gang tackling, double team blocking, etc.), and presentation, but the momentum system in NCAA '06 was very well done imo. The next gen EA football games have next no sense of weight and momentum; that's one gameplay aspect that should've stayed/been enhanced for next gen

Yea that's exactly what I mean spank. The NCAA running. I loved the way it felt.

Every year people talk about how it sounds like EA is finally stepping up to the plate and every year people are disappointed. Is it still hard to see the pattern?
