The art director on NCAA 08 choose it because he liked it. Since Oregon has approved it each year, and since they don't really HAVE a primary, I kept it the same.

I believe Notre Dame uses the CLC like most schools for its licensing needs.

I don't see anything in there about them not having white pants. I've attached what we based our uniform on.
