I just ordered direct from EA (Sunday) and got free expedited shipping!

Maybe you'll even get it a day sooner as it's coming right from the source.

As I posted on the other post......i'm not sure if the promotion is still going on, ours ended June 30th but I traded 2 Xbox 360 games and 3 PS2 Titles and i got $26 dollars off towards NCAA 09. Got my reserved copy on day of release of July 15th.

Gamestops do midnight releases based on how many preorders they have. Which makes sense. They aren't going to open if they have 3 preordered because you couldn't even pay to keep the lights on for an hour with the money made.

On another note my gamestop said we should open at midnight so Walmart is getting the nod

Anyone have experience preordering directly from EA? Does the game get there early or on time?
