I guess I'm officially a dinosaur because all I have ever used was the D-pad. I'm going to try the analog stick out tonight to see what all the fuss is about.

D-pad is only good on PS3-PS2...Xbox's D-pad sucks....so it's best to use analog stick on the 360.

I used D-Pad until NBA Live 2004, then it was play calling, thus forcing me to use analog control.

Heck I used the D-pad up until I got a 360. But many of the games discontinued it so I had to change

Sometimes using the analog doesn't feel as though you have quite as much precision when it comes to certain games. For example, it still feels like you can make sharper cuts on football games when you use the D-pad.
