Is PS3 Roster Problem Linked With 2.40?

Jeez, I feel sorry for the PS3 roster makers. It's tedious enough to actually have to name every player in the game, and now they have to deal with frequent crashes and lockups? Real nice.

The only roster project I ever worked on was naming all the players in College Hoops 2k6 for PS2. That took FOREVER, half the time I didn't even have a keyboard. And college football has a ton more players than basketball. Last year I tried to go through and name all the players on Mizzou, took me a over an hour to do, finally I just said "screw it" and waited for FK's.

Hopefully it doesn't lock up when dk and I get to it. And hopefully it doesn't lock up on cdj and the devs get a fix. Otherwise, well I hope not to get there, If we do then I'll talk about otherwise.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys. I've thrown together a couple of slider sets for games before, but doing rosters is a BIG job. Thanks for taking on the challenge.

I think maybe it was just CDJ's file. I think it's working currently, but they are saving often to not take any chances.

Well since we're going to the roster thing I'll state what the "otherwise" is. That's that this is so bad that they don't get done and the project is abandoned. But if it goes well for cdj and we only get a few lock ups (hopefully none at all) then everything will be great.
