OMT - Roster edit issue

OMT,

Could you please start a new thread and summarize what exactly we can and cannot do with rosters and what are the consequences if we do edit them?

There seems to be a lot of confusion as to what the actual issue is.

It would be greatly appreciated since this is a huge issue for many.

Maybe the thread can be locked and then you can posts updates in it.

That would be helpful. I am really trying to wrap my mind around this. The code is supposed to be exactly the same between PS3 and Xbox correct? If that is so how does Pasta have a named roster and PS3 can not without crashing.

Unless the roster was not from Pasta but from EA.

which is something very confusing about the fact on how he has certain symbols in names but you cannot enter those in manually in player edit.

My questions are as follows:

1. If I download Pasta's rosters, can I just simply overwrite them when this bug is fixed and someone else does an update?

2. Are there any problems with Pasta's roster that cause teams to disappear? (Heard this rumor)

3. Will any problems arise with my HDD/Console?

4. Basically, should I just download Pasta's rosters and wait for a patch?

5. Can I still edit depth charts without causing any problems?

In addition to these questions, how does creating a player affect these rosters? By just keeping the rosters in tact and then adding players to teams and not editing them, does the crash still occur?
