Am i disgrace if i lose to the computer???

I get upset if I am handed a game by a team with much better talent. If I take Notre Dame and face USC and crush them...I'm not really happy about it. I like to lose...when I should.

Hahaha,todays' special little snowflakes are so used to being told how great and special they are that something like losing in a videogame just doesn't fit their self-image.
This is why default settings usually are skewed to be very easy for the human vs. cpu. Most people never touch them and the manufacturers know it.
The intention is for anyone to be able to pick up the game and be successful immediately.
The average gamer wants to take his favorite team and dominate;maybe create themselves or friends and slaughter the cpu.

I dont have a problem losing UNLESS i can tell the computer is at that stage where no matter what you do, you will NOT win the game, ie having 5-6 fumbles with a player that rarely puts the ball on the turf or when a QB who is usually hit and miss make 20 straight completions. Other than that, i like the game to be competitive. My roommate was one of those ppl who would play on the easier difficulty and just post multiple undefeated seasons w/out breaking a sweat and itd always piss me off. There would even be times when hed be in the middle of a game and have to go to class, hed leave the game on so id go into his room and purposely lose the game. When hed get back to the room hed see the final score and the look on his face was always great, now, hed just reset the game and proceed to route the opponent but it was still worth it.
